Have we allowed social issues and our desire to win culture wars to get in the way of us taking Jesus to those that desperately need Him?

Anoint and use me to defend the weak and the fatherless, to rescue the innocent, and be a voice for the voiceless, a drum major of justice,

the blood of innocent preborn babies...cries out for judgment and vengeance... the precious shed blood of Jesus speaks a better word (mercy)

God, move the hearts of our nations leaders to put an end to the killing of innocent human life through abortion.

Jesus, You have all power & authority in heaven and earth. You have delegated Your power & authority to the Church to fulfill Your purpose..

God, please get our minds and hearts off of anything that would give a false sense of hope and salvation. Help us to fix our eyes on Jesus..

Bring us to the place where we comprehend the utter futility of looking to anyone or anything other than the Lord Jesus Christ.

Jesus, You are our only hope in these dark days... use Your Church to glorify Your name and bring about Your Kingdom and will on earth.

God, may the United States truly be a great nation as we humble ourselves before You and turn back to You!
