The Holy Spirit Makes It Possible For Us To Tell Others About God! (Prayer Journal 119)

Father, in Jesus' name, thank You once again for Your faithfulness to us. Thank You for the promise of this verse. You are intimately involved in every single detail of our lives. You know our every thought before we think about them and our words before we speak them. You know where we are, where we have been, and where we are going. You know the depths of our hearts and You love us the same. You know everything about us fully and completely. What is infinitely more incredible than that is You know everything about Yourself.

You are One God in three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each of the three persons are co-equal, co-eternal, and co-existing. Each One possesses all of the attributes of God such that the Father is fully God, the Son is fully God, and the Holy Spirit is fully God. Yet there are not three different Gods but only One. You are the One and only true and living God and human beings do not have the ability to fathom all that You are. You are incomprehensible because you cannot be fully known or understood. Your very being and knowledge is inexhaustible. You are eternal for You have no beginning and You have no end. You are self-existing as You are the source of Your own existence. You are self-sufficient for everything You need, You are.

Father thank You for sending the Son, Jesus, into the world that we may know You both and have eternal life. Thank You Father and Son for sending the Holy Spirit to live in us and to testify to this truth. If this were not true then there would be no possible way for us to tell others who You are, what You have done, and what You have made available to us. Apart from Your Spirit being with us and living in us how would we dare to try to describe an unlimited, unfathomable iceberg when all we can see is a tiny tip? How foolish would we be to take Your Words upon our lips and declare them to others unless You are with us? The task of preaching the Word of God and the gospel of Jesus Christ is too hard and impossible for us apart from the Holy Spirit working in and through us to do so. Thank You for the reality of Your presence with us at all times. In Jesus' name, Amen!!!
